- Which formats can I work with?
- WAV (up to 32 channels) for splitting, merging and channel mapping. MP4, MOV and WEBM for audio extraction, exported as WAV or AIFF.
- Is sample rate and bit depth preserved?
- Yes. Files are written at their original sample rate with 24-bit PCM output — no re-encoding, no generation loss.
- Is there a file size limit?
- Only your machine's memory. Because there is no upload, multi-gigabyte field recordings work fine on a modern laptop.
- Do I need to install anything?
